Important Configuration Notes

  • Only AMD EPYC 9005 series processors can use memory modules built with 32Gb density DRAM. BIOS/firmware updates and/or specific board revisions may also be required.
  • Rex 1.x model servers support up to 4800MT/s DDR5 with EPYC 9004 or 9005 processors.
  • Rev 3.x model servers support up to 6000MT/s DDR5 with EPYC 9005 processors.
  • MODULES MUST BE ORDERED AND INSTALLED IN GROUPS OF TWELVE FOR MAXIMUM MEMORY PERFORMANCE.
  • Mixing module types and densities (x4, x8, 16Gbit, 24Gbit, 32Gbit) is NOT allowed. All installed modules must be identical.
  • Kingston memory will clock down to run at optimal speed depending on processor model installed and number of modules installed. Please refer to system documentation.

Compatible Upgrades For Your System

Kingston FURY Renegade with Heatsink (SFYRSK/xxxG, SFYRDK/xxxG) will fit in most systems that can accommodate its size (~80mm x 23.67mm x 10.5mm). This includes a variety of motherboards, desktops, gaming PCs and the PlayStation 5. If you are uncertain whether it will fit, please review your system manufacturer’s support manual, or contact Kingston Technical Support.
Note: Some small-form-factor systems like Intel® NUC cannot physically accommodate the height of the heatsink. In these circumstances, we suggest FURY Renegade without heatsink (SFYRS/xxxG, SFYRD/xxxG).
