Important Configuration Notes

  • MODULES MUST BE ORDERED AND INSTALLED IN GROUPS OF FOUR for Quad Channel mode.
  • Depending on which processor you install, different memory modules are required. Intel Xeon W processors require ECC RDIMMs. Intel Core i7/i9 processors require non-ECC UDIMM.
  • Only Intel Xeon x2xx Series (Cascade Lake) and I7/i9 (Cascade Lake) processors can use memory modules built with 16Gb density DRAM. BIOS/firmware updates and/or specific board revisions may also be required.
  • KCP4xxNS8/16 and KCP4xxND8/32 are only supported on systems with Core i7/i9 10th Gen (Cascade Lake) processors.
  • Mixing non-ECC UDIMM and ECC RDIMM within the same system is not supported.
  • Actual memory speed depends on the installed processor type.

Compatible Upgrades For Your System

Kingston FURY Renegade with Heatsink (SFYRSK/xxxG, SFYRDK/xxxG) will fit in most systems that can accommodate its size (~80mm x 23.67mm x 10.5mm). This includes a variety of motherboards, desktops, gaming PCs and the PlayStation 5. If you are uncertain whether it will fit, please review your system manufacturer’s support manual, or contact Kingston Technical Support.
Note: Some small-form-factor systems like Intel® NUC cannot physically accommodate the height of the heatsink. In these circumstances, we suggest FURY Renegade without heatsink (SFYRS/xxxG, SFYRD/xxxG).
