Important Configuration Notes

  • Memory will clock down to run at optimal speeds depending on processor model installed.
  • MODULES MUST BE ORDERED AND INSTALLED IN PAIRS for Dual Channel mode.
  • This system supports both ECC and non-ECC memory. Mixing ECC and non-ECC modules is not supported.
  • Only Xeon and specific Core i3, Pentium, and Celeron processor models support ECC mode. All other Intel processor models supported by this system require non-ECC type modules.
  • Only Intel Xeon x2xx Series (Cascade Lake-SP) and Intel Core i processors can use memory modules built with 16Gb density DRAM. BIOS/firmware updates and/or specific board revisions may also be required.

Compatible Upgrades For Your System

Kingston FURY Renegade with Heatsink (SFYRSK/xxxG, SFYRDK/xxxG) will fit in most systems that can accommodate its size (~80mm x 23.67mm x 10.5mm). This includes a variety of motherboards, desktops, gaming PCs and the PlayStation 5. If you are uncertain whether it will fit, please review your system manufacturer’s support manual, or contact Kingston Technical Support.
Note: Some small-form-factor systems like Intel® NUC cannot physically accommodate the height of the heatsink. In these circumstances, we suggest FURY Renegade without heatsink (SFYRS/xxxG, SFYRD/xxxG).
