The AMD 5th Generation EPYC™ processor platform (Turin) is built on AMD’s Zen 5 microarchitecture, designed to deliver higher performance, improved efficiency, and scalability for today’s demanding data center workloads. Supporting 1P and 2P configurations, the EPYC 9005 Series provides twelve DDR5 memory channels per processor, with speeds up to 6000MT/s for enhanced bandwidth and responsiveness. With configurations offering up to 192 cores and 384 threads, the Turin platform delivers the compute power and memory throughput required for intensive enterprise, virtualization, and HPC applications.

Memory architecture
Memory architecture is based on twelve channels arranged in two banks per processor. Each processor can be configured with 12 or 24 modules, depending on the motherboard layout, to achieve the maximum aggregated memory bandwidth.
