Important Configuration Notes

  • Faster memory will clock down to run at optimal speed and voltage depending on processor model and number of modules installed.
  • This system supports either Registered ECC (RDIMM) or ECC Unbuffered (ECC UDIMM) memory. Mixing RDIMMs and ECC UDIMMs is not supported within this system.
  • Modules must be ordered and installed in PAIRS for Dual Channel mode, or in groups of FOUR for Quad Channel mode. Kingston offers "K4" kit part numbers for Quad Channel mode.
