Important Configuration Notes

  • MODULES MUST BE ORDERED AND INSTALLED IN PAIRS, OR ORDERED AND INSTALLED IN GROUPS OF FOUR for Quad Channel mode.
  • This system supports 1.5V DDR3 and 1.35V Low-Voltage DDR3 memory. When mixing DIMMs of different voltages, system runs memory at 1.5V.
  • This system supports either Registered ECC or Unbuffered ECC or Load Reduced DIMM. Mixing Registered ECC, Unbuffered ECC, and Load Reduced DIMM is not supported within this system.
  • 1866MHz and 1600MHz 1.35v memory requires E5-2600 v2 series processors. 1866 speed is supported only for 1 DIMM per channel (Blue color DIMM slot).
