In April 2025, Intel announced the 200S Boost programme. This is an enhancement to the DDR5 XMP 3.0 Certificationprogramme, which outlines specifications to optimise the power and performance of overclockable memory modules to guarantee the warranty on select Intel Core Ultra 200K/KF series processors.
For an overclockable memory module or kit to be Intel XMP 3.0 Certified with 200S Boost, they must meet the following requirements:
- Up to 8000MT/s
- UDIMM or CUDIMM
- 1x Dual Channel Kit installed in 1DPC (1 DIMM Per Channel)
- VDD2 ≤ 1.4V and VccSA ≤ 1.20V
- Module VDDQ and VDD ≤ 1.4V
The power requirements for 200S Boost compliant memory reduce electrical stress on the processor, lessening the risk of processor degradation, which allows Intel to support the full warranty on the following Core Ultra 200K/KF processors:
- Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 285K
- Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 265K
- Intel® Core™ Ultra 7 265KF
- Intel® Core™ Ultra 5 245K
- Intel® Core™ Ultra 5 245KF
Leading motherboard manufacturers (ASRock, ASUS, Gigabyte, MSI) have announced motherboard models with BIOS support for 200S Boost. For a list, visit the motherboard manufacturers’ websites, or select a model shown on the Intel XMP 3.0 page on Intel’s website.
The following Kingston FURY Renegade DDR5 modules and dual channel kits are Intel 200S Boost XMP 3.0 Certified.
