Based on AMD’s “Zen 4” microarchitecture, the 4th Generation AMD EPYC processor platform code-named “Genoa” targets 1P and 2P servers. AMD’s first DDR5 server system supports memory speeds of up to 4800MT/s across twelve memory channels per processor, with up to 96 cores (192 threads), 128 PCIe Gen 5 lanes, 64 lanes for CXL 1.1+ and built on 5nm lithography, this processor platform revolutionises data center capabilities for the compute demands of today and tomorrow.
