The AMD EPYC 8004 series processor, codenamed “Siena”, is an energy-efficient line of server processors built on the AMD “Zen 4c” 5nm microarchitecture. The 8004 series features up to 64 cores for single-socket (1P) servers and utilises up to six channels of DDR5 to deliver high-performance bandwidth for demanding applications. The low TDP but high core density makes the 8004 series a small but powerful solution for edge or dense computing environments.

Memory architecture
Memory architecture is based on six channels (6CH) arranged in up to two banks per processor. Each processor can be configured with 6 or 12 modules, depending on the motherboard layout, to achieve the maximum aggregated memory bandwidth.
