AMD’s “Zen 5” microarchitecture delivers the 5th Generation AMD EPYC server processor (codenamed Turin). Targeting 1P and 2P server platforms, the EPYC 9005 series supports DDR5 memory speeds of up to 6000MT/s across twelve memory channels per processor, with up to 192 cores (384 threads).

Memory architecture is based on twelve channels arranged in two banks per processor. Each processor can be configured with 12 or 24 modules, depending on the motherboard layout, to achieve the maximum aggregated memory bandwidth.
* Turin does not support DDR5 LRDIMM, DDR5 UDIMM, NVDIMM-N, and NVDIMM-P module types.
